View Full Version : front bumper license plate delete. When I bought my car it was already on there. I think the previous owner got it from Bavarian Autosport. Check them out. Sounds like another reason for officer hard ass to give out a ticket.

But it does look x better. I would do it, but I'm too lazy to change it since it's illegal in California anyways. Why do it when you might get pulled over only to change it back again? I can't wait to move to PA this summer for that exact reason. My and the 5er are dieing to get the FPD Yeah, I know that.

That question was directed towards my situation. On some cars, there's a bolt in the middle of the license plate part itself directly in the middle that has to be removed. If you have a plate on and try to just yank it off, you may have problems. Judging by what I've seen here, some have the bolt, some don't. Just be aware that yours may have it. Other than that, it just snaps in and out. NY is one where they pull u over for anything crazy on your car, this guy told me once that getting a ticket for having the front plate delete is considered a "look good tax" I bought it but never used it since I sold my is and the buyer wanted the trim with the license plate bracket instead.
